Our common life is rooted in Eucharistic Adoration, meditation on the Cross, Marian Consecration, and friendship with the Holy Spirit. These are the wellsprings of our joy and the source of the love that sends us out to announce the Name of Jesus Christ and carry His Cross throughout the world.

Our Story & Charism
We exist so that Jesus may be known, loved, and served.
Founded in Villavicencio, Colombia, on September 5, 1995, our community has passionately carried out missionary work in the Diocese of Brooklyn, New York, since 2004. After 15 years of apostolic service throughout the Diocese of Brooklyn, we were canonically established in 2019 by Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio, Bishop Emeritus of Brooklyn.
As a young community, our story is still unfolding. To join the Preachers of Christ and Mary is to become part of something new—to build a spiritual family, serve the Church, and give your life to a mission greater than yourself.

We follow Jesus, rooted in contemplation of Him as an itinerant Preacher. We respond to the call of St. John Paul II to a New Evangelization—new in ardor, new in expression, and new in methods. With Mary, we bring the joy of the Gospel to a world longing to encounter Jesus Christ.
