The Foundation of Our Common Life

Our consecrated identity is lived through Five Pillars that form the mind, heart, and hands for mission.

Prayer

"Be in silence. Silence is necessary in life. Without silence, it is impossible for us to understand God’s design for our existence and to carry it out."
— Father Rafael García Herreros

Our days are centered on the Holy Sacrifice of the Eucharist, the Liturgy of the Hours, the Rosary, and regular Eucharistic Adoration. Every Friday, we enter deeply into the mystery of the Cross, uniting our lives with Christ’s sacrificial love for the world.

Study

"The closer one approaches God, the simpler one becomes."
— Saint Teresa of Avila

Respecting the education, human maturity, and intellectual gifts our sisters bring, we prioritize deep theological, philosophical, and scriptural formation. Study safeguards against intellectual superficiality and equips us to engage contemporary culture with doctrinal clarity and articulate conviction.

Work

"Christ has no body now but yours, no hands, no feet on earth but yours. Yours are the eyes with which he looks compassion on this world."
— Saint Teresa of Avila

We view active labor as a form of worship and a path toward true humility. Whether producing media, preaching the Word of God, teaching youth in our robotics labs, caring for our convent, or serving our neighbors, our hands work for Christ.

Fraternal Love

"The surest way to determine whether one possesses the love of God is to see whether he or she loves his or her neighbor. These two loves are never separated."
— Saint Teresa of Avila

In an individualistic world, our common life stands as a counter-cultural witness to communion. Governed by the foundational conviction that “Charity comes before the Rule,” our convent is an authentic school of love where trust, mutual forgiveness, and human dignity cultivate an environment where sisters grow in interior freedom and mutual support.

Profound Commitment

"What is needed here are consecrated souls who seek the kingdom of Christ... young people of inner drive, who care deeply about the salvation of souls and the glory of consecration."
— Father Rafael García Herreros

We surrender our lives to God through the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience. This total surrender is not a restriction of our freedom, but its greatest realization. As Saint Teresa encourages us, “To have courage for whatever comes in life—everything lies in that”.
