Morning:
Belonging to Christ from the First Moments of the Day

Entering the Silence of Prayer

5:00 AM – 5:45 AM
Rising, the Angelus & Exercise

Our day begins with the bell and the Angelus, a reminder that our whole life belongs to God. We care for our bodies with exercise so that we may have the strength and freedom to serve Christ generously in prayer, community, and apostolic work.

6:15 AM – 7:45 AM
Entering the Silence of Prayer

In the quiet of the morning, we gather before the Lord. This is the heart of our day: before we go out to give, we first receive from Christ.

  • Lauds — Divine Office: We unite our voices with the whole Church in the Psalms, praising God and interceding for the world.
  • Lectio Divina: Together we listen to the living Word of God, allowing Scripture to shape our minds, purify our desires, and speak into our lives.
  • Personal Meditation: In sacred silence, each sister remains with Jesus, praying with what the Lord has stirred through the Word.
  • Marian Consecration: We renew our filial entrustment to the Blessed Virgin Mary, learning from her to receive Christ, listen to Him, and carry Him to others

7:45 AM – 8:15 AM
Holy Mass — The Heart of Our Day

The Eucharist is the center of our life. At the altar, we enter more deeply into Christ’s self-giving love, receive the grace that sustains our consecration, and are sent forth to become a gift for others. Our apostolic life flows from this encounter.

8:45 AM
Breakfast & the Common Table

We share a simple breakfast before beginning the day’s work. Even ordinary moments become places of gratitude, friendship, and sisterhood.

Midday
Formation, Work, and Evangelizing Mission

“God walks among the pots and the pans.”

— Saint Teresa of Avila

9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Study, Labor, and Apostolic Mission

Contemplative intimacy with Christ leads outward. Following Him as itinerant evangelizers, we bring the Gospel into the places where God sends us. Our work becomes an offering of service, humility, and love.

  • Apostolic Ministries: Our sisters coordinate music, dance, painting, theater, and robotics classes at The Belfry School of Arts; produce Musical Theater performances, create media for evangelization; lead retreats; and prepare parish missions and other opportunities for preaching across parishes and dioceses.
  • Theological & Scriptural Formation: We study Scripture, theology, and the teachings of the Church so that we can speak about the faith with depth, clarity, and love in today’s culture.
  • Life in the Convent: We also care for our home through cooking, cleaning, organizing, and serving one another. Charity is practiced in the little things as much as in public ministry.

12:00 PM
The Angelus

Wherever the apostolate finds us, we pause for the Angelus before lunch.

Evening
Returning to the Source and Sharing the Joy of Sisterhood

5:00 PM
Vespers – Divine Office

As the day quiets, we return to the chapel for Evening Prayer.

5:30 PM
Community Dinner

We gather around the table with gratitude. Meals are simple, but they are an important part of our life together: a place to listen, laugh, share stories, and receive one another as sisters.

6:15 PM
Community Recreation

Consecrated life is not a life without joy. Recreation gives us time for conversation, walks, music, laughter, and rest. In these ordinary moments, sisterhood grows stronger. As we seek to live the principle that “Charity comes before the Rule,” we learn that holiness is deeply connected to how we love one another.

Night
The Cross, Gratitude, and the Gift of Silence

“Christ has no body now on earth but yours, no hands, no feet on earth but yours. Yours are the eyes with which he looks compassion on this world.”

— Saint Teresa of Avila

7:00 PM
Spiritual Reading

We make space for spiritual reading and reflection, drawing from Sacred Scripture, Saint Teresa of Avila, the Fathers of the Church, and the treasures of Catholic spirituality. The goal is not simply to learn more, but to let the truth of Christ become a way of life.

8:15 PM
Compline – Divine Office & Examination of Conscience

We end the day by standing honestly before the Lord: giving thanks for His grace, asking forgiveness for where we have failed in love, and entrusting the unfinished work of the day to His mercy. On Fridays, this time opens into prolonged silence before the mystery of the Cross, where we contemplate Christ’s patience, generosity, and total self-gift.

8:30 PM
Silence, Study, and Personal Prayer

The convent becomes quiet. Each sister has time for study, personal prayer, and examination of the heart. Silence creates room to listen, recognize God’s presence, and let Him continue shaping us.

10:00 PM
The Great Silence

The house enters the Great Silence until Morning Prayer. We place ourselves, our community, our apostolate, and the souls entrusted to us into the Father’s hands, resting in the confidence that God continues His work while we sleep.

Are you drawn to a life where prayer becomes the source of mission, Mary teaches you to follow Christ, and sisterhood helps you give yourself in love?
